STUPID

Lisa: *sigh* the face off stuff continues and now we know Cartright stole Kate’s mother’s face. Ewww….It’s literally to the point where I can’t eat before I watch this show.

Cay: PLEASE MAKE IT STOP! It’s got to stop now that Cartright is dead, right?  They better not bring in his mother with Kate and Beth’s mother’s face!

AWESOME

Lisa: Mary & Luke are a dream team! They make me smile on this show. I loved the scene where Mary was pulling books on the bookcase trying to find a secret passage. She is great!

Cay: I would absolutely watch a show that was just Mary! I love that she’s so smart and talented with an outside life as a socialite and a “secret life” with her undercover clinic. It tosses a lot of stereotypes on their head in a very good way. Definitely a fun dynamic with her and Luke.

Lisa: The more we find out about Alice’s past, the worse it gets and the more I cringe. *shiver* Just when we didn’t think it could be worse, it was. That old bitchy bat pouring boiling water on her as a child was just another tragic peek into how Alice became the person she is. Heartbreaking.

Cay:  Yeah, as if Cartwright wasn’t bad enough! Maybe that’s why he became who he is/was? Will this be the turning point for Alice? Will she renounce her homicidal ways?

YOUR THOUGHTS

Lisa: How will Kate’s first kill affect her? How will it affect Batwoman? Will she forgive herself for crossing the line? Will this bring her closer to Alice or ignite her dark side? Or will she use this to turn to Sophie for comfort? So many questions! Also, can we please see more of Luke and Mary together? Pretty please and thank you.

Cay: Obviously Kate killing Cartwright is going to be a big deal emotionally for the show, but seriously, the guy had it coming! It was completely justified in my mind – he killed Beth and tortured Alice. And, it’s not like anybody truly evil ever stays locked up in Gotham. Better to have him off the streets. Plus, he was half dead anyway after trying to kill himself.

Batwoman airs Sunday nights at 8pm/7c on The CW and is available on the CW App the next day.
