Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist Roundtable: Zoey’s Extraordinary Night Out
Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist is back after a month and we are truly excited to see what they do with this show. Roz and I (and occasionally Mel) will be covering each week with the things that were Music To Our Ears and the things that were more Nails On A Chalkboard. Join us won’t you?
Things get complicated for Zoey at Simon’s engagement party. Maggie has a night out alone, but it doesn’t go as planned.
Music To Our Ears
Roz: The drama gave me life this week! I love that it all started with Joan, Zoey and “Tick Tock” and then gave way to too many secrets at Jessica and Simon’s engagement party. I even like Lief and Joan working on that app together after the alcohol has faded away.
Leah: I like Mo and Zoey’s life intertwining. Seeing Mo at Simon’s engagement party and helping Max dress was a nice touch to pull all threads together. Also, some great songs tonight and can we talk about how much I love a shirtless Skylar Astin? It’s a good look.
Nails On The Chalkboard
Roz: Jessica finally finds the time to be annoyed about Simon and Zoey’s relationship? I call BS on that so much because that wasn’t news to her.
Leah: Right Roz? How is this just becoming an issue for a woman who says she is always jealous? Zoey isn’t attractive enough or something – because that is bullshit.
One slight musical issue for me this week – 500 Miles – song makes me want to stab myself in the ears. Even if it is being sung by someone I like.
Music
Roz: Ke$ha, The Pretenders! I want to go through all that music again later.
