Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist is back after a month and we are truly excited to see what they do with this show. Roz and I (and occasionally Mel) will be covering each week with the things that were Music To Our Ears and the things that were more Nails On A Chalkboard. Join us won’t you?

Zoey is forced to address her own faith and why she was given these powers as she attempts to help Mo feel comfortable expressing his true self. David creates a “big moment” for Mitch.

Music To Our Ears

Roz:  I love that we saw more of Mo in this episode and what it says about life when you’re nonconforming.

The situation with the gender reveal party was also so well done that I wanted to see more of what’s to come with dealing with Mitch’s illness.

Leah: Oh an episode about Mo – That is the best! Being religious and gender nonconforming can not be easy and it’s nice to see it talked about in a prime time show. Also good, but so sad, watching Mitch talking and joking at his son’s wedding not too long ago. Now he is almost immobile.

Nails On The Chalkboard

Roz:  I need Zoey’s office weirdness to calm down. Between Joan and Max, there are too many weird awkward moments there to make it a place where I don’t expect something odd to happen day in and day out.

Leah: There was just too much happening this week. Bonnie, Mo, Zoey’s boss, Max….just one too many storylines.
