Christmas Wish List 2019

Christmas is only 8 days away – where has the time gone?! – and it only seemed right to make a wish list for Santa, which is something I haven’t done in a while.

The items below are listed in no particular order:

1. Chocolate Covered Cashews – I have had a sweet tooth since I was a kid, and I’ve never grown out of my love for all things chocolate. While my favorite candy is M&M’s, as anyone who knows me well understands all too well, I do get a craving for chocolate covered cashews around this time of year.

2. Disney+ – With all the streaming services that are now available to viewers – there just seem to be more and more all the time, right?! – I have to say that I’d love to check out Disney+ especially given the incredible catalog they have at their fingertips.

3. Books – I’ve been an avid reader since my late teens, even more so since I moved to California 19 years ago. I recently learned that author Suzanne Collins has a new book in The Hunger Games franchise coming out in May of 2020 entitled “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” and given the popularity of The Witcher series on Netflix, starring Superman himself Henry Cavill, I’m going to have to add that book series by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski to my “must read” list.

4. Movies – This year was a big year for the Marvel Universe and DC Comics from Aquaman as well as Chuck star Zachary Levi appearing as Shazam to Captain Marvel to Avengers: Endgame. And then there was the debut of Downton Abbey on the big screen. It would be great to get any (or all) of these movies on DVD to add to my collection.
