Anna Kendrick Plays Santa’s Daughter Noelle in Disney+ Movie
The new streaming service Disney+ debuts online today, November 12 with the new holiday movie Noelle airing as part of its inaugural opening.
As Kris Kringle (Bryan Brendle from the box office movie Night School) prepares to retire as Santa and pass on the reins to his son Nick (Bill Hader from Saturday Night Live and the HBO series Barry), however, the stress of his future role begins to get to Nick.
When his sister Noelle (Anna Kendrick from Into the Woods and the Pitch Perfect franchise) suggests that he take a weekend off, Nick abandons his job completely.
Because of that, Noelle faces the world outside the North Pole for the first time when she follows him to try to convince him to return to work.
Meanwhile, their ill-prepared cousin Gabriel (Bill Eichner from American Horror Story) steps up and prepares to turn Santa’s workshop into an online delivery service.
The cast includes Shirley MacLaine, Julie Hagerty, Michael Gross, Chelah Horsdal, Anna Von Hooft, Anthony Konechny and Burgess Jenkins.
