Travel to Africa with Netflix for a Holiday in the Wild

Netflix is getting in on the holiday movie trend with Holiday in the Wild, starring Kristin Davis (Sex and the City) and Rob Lowe (The West Wing).

Kate Conrad (Davis), a stylish Manhattanite, is about to have her life turned upside down when her husband decides to leave her just as they were to celebrate their ‘second honeymoon’ on an African safari. Kate takes the trip by herself, and ends up staying all the way through the Christmas holiday,

There, she and Derek (Lowe), a pilot, rescue a baby elephant. While nursing the elephant back to health, Kate discovers how much she loves her new surroundings, which inspires her to follow her heart and find new purpose within her own life.

Holiday in the Wild debuts on Netflix on Friday, November 1
