Dragon Con 2019: NiceGirl Lisa’s Panel Schedule!
We are a few days away from Dragon Con 2019! Who’s excited? I can’t wait. I’ve been going to Dragon Con for 8 or 9 years now and every year I’m just as excited as the year prior. One of my favorite things about Dragon Con is getting together with people from different fandoms and talking about shared nerdy interests. I’ve met so many extraordinary people that became life long friends by living this con life. Speaking on panels the last few years has enhanced my experience even more. Having discussions with fellow panelists and audience members about topics I am passionate about is a highlight of the con for me and the friendships formed are truly what it’s about.
With that being said, I’m happy to share that I will a panelist on the 5 panels listed below this year. Yay!
Friday 8/30/19
4:00 pm – Disaster & Cooperation: A Siren Fan Panel, Westin Chastain 1-2, (Urban Fantasy Track) – A moderated fan-panel discussion of the second season of the hit show on FreeForm.
7:00 pm – Jordan Peele: Fan Panel, Westin Peachtree 1-2, (Horror Track) – This panel examines Jordan Peele’s work in horror and suspense from the Oscar-winning Get Out, Us and his current work on The Twilight Zone.
Saturday 8/31/19
2:30 pm – The Final Battle: A Shadowhunters Fan Panel, Westin Chastain 1-2, (Urban Fantasy Track) – A moderated fan-panel discussion of the third and final season of the hit show on FreeForm.
Sunday 9/1/19
10:00 am –Accepting Their Gifts: A Midnight, Texas Fan Panel, Westin Chastain 1-2 (Urban Fantasy Track) – A moderated fan-panel discussion of the popular show.
1:00 pm – Heroes That Look and Live Like Us, Marriott M302-M303 (American SF & Fantasy Media track) -Superheroes are popular across the board, but what happens when you don’t see someone who looks like you do? Or lives as you do? Well then, it’s time to create them. A look at how heroes of color are shaped and not just painted with a different brush. * I will have a swag giveaway at this panel*
