Binge Watch TV on the Fourth of July

By  |

With the Fourth of July only a few days away it seemed like the right time to urge our readers to consider sitting back, relaxing with a cold drink and some of your favorite snacks and binge watching some TV over the long weekend.

If you are a fan of military dramas, WGN America will begin a two-day “JAG of July” marathon, serving as the “kick off for the cable network being the sole TV destination where audiences can watch the show.” The JAG marathon will begin on July 4 and 5 at 9 AM (ET). After that the network will air the show’s 10 seasons chronologically, airing two episodes a day Monday through Friday at 4 PM (ET)

If you are more interested in romantic movies, make sure to check out the Hallmark Channel as the network will countdown its Top 5 Wedding movies on July 4 starting at 12 Noon.

If you’d rather be scared on the holiday, you can watch the third season of Stranger Things on Netflix. Or you can check out the entire third season of Designated Survivor or the final season of Jessica Jones also on the streaming service. Or you can check out some of Netflix’s great movies like Always Be My Maybe, Good Sam, Wine County or even last summer’s hit To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.

If you want to relive the magic before the 4th season rolls out on Hulu, Veronica Mars seasons one, two and three are now available on that streaming service.

If you want to go on a thrill ride with a demon and an angel, check out Good Omens on Amazon or check out Stana Katic in the second season of Absentia.

If you are a Marvel fan, it might take a lot of doing – unless you’ve been collecting all of the movies – you could watch them all in release date order or you can consider watching them in the order as recommended by the folks at Pocket-Lint.

Regardless of how you will be spending the holiday, let it be safe – please don’t drink and drive – and fun!

Happy Fourth of July!!!
