WHISKEY CAVALIER Roundtable: College Confidential

By  |

This week on Whiskey Cavalier:

The team goes under cover at a college to take down its new target, an engineering prodigy suspected of building a super weapon.

Join us as we use our new ratings system known as SASSY – S(tupid), A(wesome), S(o) S(o) and Y(Your Thoughts):

STUPID

Rueben: There were so MANY instances in this episode where I knew things were going to happen BEFORE they happened. I knew the pretty co-ed was bad. I knew it was Frankie and Will on the motorcycles, pretending to go after Standish and Yong. I knew Yong’s research was going to be missing before he opened the safe and that he and Standish were going to get shot at before it happened. And, I knew that Standish was going to fake Yong’s death. Also, they took a picture of themselves all going into the college together AND talked about the mission in places where other people could have easily heard them?!! ARGH!

Leah: I’ll take a little from Roz and a little from Cay…I am getting very tired of how obnoxiously one dimensional Frankie is. I’m all for her not being Will, but she needs to grow a little more. Also, Ray! Ugh!

Roz: Why can’t Frankie have layers? She’s always so harsh that it ruins all that work Will is doing with her.

Cay: Frankie’s sweater in the first few scenes, and Ray, always Ray. Also Will wanting to know if the undercover student thought he was hot.

AWESOME

Rueben: The only good part was Standish setting it up to save Yong by faking his death, and NOT telling Frankie and Will.

Roz: Standish using Frankie and Will’s words and actions against them at the end of the episode.

Leah: I again agree with Roz and Cay, but I’m going to go with Jai having so much fun watching the cameras with Susan. Jai is doing what I wish Frankie would do…he is opening up and integrating with the team. I like the team member bonding moments, even if it was a little voyeur-ish.

Cay: Standish and Yong pulling one over on Frankie and Will (although what if they had shot him in the head??)

SO-SO

Rueben: The whole thing of Ray being the rugby coach and the spying on the professor and his student by Susan and Jai. Bleh!

Leah: Ray as the Rugby Coach. I find him annoying in general.

Roz: Why did it take Jai and Susan so long to figure out that the woman trying to flirt with Will was another handler? Also is Europe bad with their wired internet that only a college campus ahs a T3? Did I just date myself by talking about that?

Cay: Jai and Susan spying on the student and her professor – it was kind of icky.

YOUR THOUGHTS

Rueben: Up until now I’ve loved the show, but this episode disappointed me with all the predictability. I want to see more dimension in Frankie. I’d even take a bomb threat right now that puts all of them on the edge, kicking ass and taking names.

Leah: Fun seeing how they all felt about going back to college.

Roz: Why is everyone but Will and Susan bad at this college thing? I wanted more from everyone being a part of college again?

Cay: I would definitely *not* want Jai as a professor!
