Old News

Roz: This show has always been good about using the news, and current figures to its advantage. To see both Lawrence O’Donnell and Andrea Mitchell was a nice nod to this news.

Cara: I enjoyed the nods to bipartisan comraderie and traditional journalism in this episode.  Miles’ New Years kiss was a little bit of a cliche gimmick,  and I’d really like one of the men on this show to have a romantic moment with someone within at least a decade of their own age.  I did enjoy Julius and Pat catching it on video, modernizing  the moment.

New News

Roz: I’m so happy that Pat and Julius might be hooking up after that party ends. They’re both so fabulous and I think they finally realized it. Corky’s plan to be alone with VP Pence was also priceless.

Cara: I loved Corky’s commitment to her goal, and it was a very important question that I’d like to see answered in the real world.  I have loved seeing Murphy and Avery  interact,  and this was especially sweet.
