TIMELESS Thoughts: Chinatown
On Timeless the team is on a mission to save Jiya with dire consequences in 1800s San Francisco.
Leah’s Thoughts
The Good
I’m with Roz – Jiya was amazing! She spent the better part of two seasons in the “office” but when it counted she came through in the field in a major way. She will have some serious personal/mental repercussions I assume but hopefully she will just come through stronger. (See how I’m talking like a season 3 is already decided.)
The Bad
If the final seconds of this episode hadn’t ended with a “Let’s go get/save Rufus” I would still be in my bed in a ball crying.
Roz’s Thoughts
The Good
Jiya kicking butt and taking care of herself, even as she found herself in San Francisco in the late 1800s. I’m sad that she had to not only kill some Rittenhouse guys, but also deal with all of the trouble of a racial divided California city, but she made it.
Oh and I’m sort of impressed with Emma! She’s had issues with the Preston family all season, but she took care of most of them. No more creepy great-grandpa or mom for Lucy.
The Bad
RUFUS NO!!! I know that Jiya and Rufus thought they changed the visions, but man I didn’t want to believe it.
My only comfort is that button at the end! How is that possible? I need a third season to answer that question for me.
TIMELESS airs Sunday 10/9c on NBC
