My 20 Thoughts on The Arrangement: “Paso Robles”
With only a few more episodes left in the second season of The Arrangement, things are getting pretty intense especially between Megan and Kyle whose wedding is imminent and the truth about Julie Woolth, the former IHM member, is finally revealed.
The tagline for the new episode, entitled “Paso Robles,” is as follows:
“Days before the wedding, Kyle has a chance run-in with someone from his past, which sends him to questioning his ability to find happiness. Megan and Shaun head out of town under the guise of a bachelorette party weekend to investigate a lead that could expose Terence’s misdeeds.”
Here are my thoughts about the episode:
1. Seriously the guests of the “Kygan” wedding have to sign NDA’s (that would be non-disclosure agreements). Oh brother!
2. The wedding will happen in two more weeks – I don’t think it’s actually going to happen.
3. Well, isn’t that interesting, the Detective who Kyle basically had to screw to keep her quiet is back in town.
4. Shaun found Julie Woolth, and she’s only four hours away. That seems almost too convenient.
5. And, of course, Megan wants to go see her.
6. Good thing she’s got a bachelorette party to use as a ruse in order to get access to Julie.
7. How about that nightmare that Kyle had? Is he having the dreams because of the Detective being back in town or some other reason?
8. I just can’t understand why Shaun has such blinders on where Terence is concerned.
9. Boy Megan wasn’t kidding when she said her best friend Tessa would know something was amiss. That girl doesn’t miss a thing!
10. Who else had been drinking the Kool-Aid? That would be Julie Woolth.
11. What does Terence tell Kyle to do to deal with his nightmare? Redecorate the house and change everything. Good grief!
12. I actually feel bad for Zach, but he should’ve known better than to be talking on the phone with his back to Kyle. Always keep your eye on the prize, as the old saying goes.
13. Speaking of Zach, what did they do to him after Kyle talked to him? Anything that happens at that facility isn’t good.
14. I have to give DeAnn credit for getting Wes out from under Terence’s thumb – at least for now.
15. It’s about time that Megan go to Julie, demanding the truth.
16. But, holy crap, I wasn’t expecting that truth.
17. Julie’s brother Aaron was a friend and rival of Kyle’s back in the day. Aaron got the role that ended up putting Kyle on the map; and it’s Kyle’s fault that Aaron ended up in a wheelchair.
18. Megan needs to get out of this arrangement in my opinion.
19. Terence covered up the incident between Kyle and Aaron – what a surprise? And they’ve been paying Julie/Aaron hush money ever since. Again, what a surprise? NOT!
20. Megan tells Kyle she knows everything! That isn’t going to end well.
What are your thoughts on the latest episode of the show? Were you expecting the truth about Julie to play out the way it did? Do you think Shaun will keep drinking the Kool-Aid or will she finally start to have doubts about Terence? What is Kyle going to do to Megan? Please share your thoughts in our comments section below.
The next new episode of The Arrangement will air on E! Entertainment on Sunday, May 6 at 9/8c.
