TIMELESS Thoughts: The King of the Delta Blues
This week on Timeless the team heads back to the south to rescue Robert Johnson from Rittenhouse. If you don’t know anything about the blues singer/songwriter please read about him here. He was an immense talent. While the team (including Connor Mason) are back in the 30’s Wyatt is in the present attempting a dangerous raid on Rittenhouse.

The Good
At first I was pretty sure I was going to have to put Conner Mason on a mission in the bad column but with some help from Rufus he really came through. Woo Hoo Conner!
Robert Johnson! A favorite of creator Eric Kripke gets an episode. I love how Timeless picks people like JFK that everyone knows to people like Robert Johnson that everyone should know but doesn’t. It’s a good mix of historical figures.
TRUE. Anyone who watches @cw_spn knows I’m OBSESSED with #RobertJohnson & blues & deals with devils at crossroads! Next week, we dig deeper into the man than ever before. BRILLIANT script by @anslemasylum. If you’re a #spn fan, YOU. MUST. WATCH. #Timeless #Clockblockers https://t.co/ts7HzwdNHc

The Bad
Agent Christopher. Do I get that she doesn’t fully trust Flynn? Sure. But would Flynn have hesitated when faced with Lucy’s stupid mother and greatest grandfather while infiltrating Rittenhouse? Nope. He would not have. She should have sent Wyatt back with Lucy and the gang and kept Flynn in the present to raid Rittenhouse.
Roz’s Thoughts
The Good
All that jazz! Well, I listened to lots of it as a kid (Dad’s preferred genre of choice) so to see Bessy Smith and Muddy Waters was great.
Connor also did so much to prove he’s part of the team for more than just his money.
The Bad
All the Wyatt in Rittenhouse! I get we need to take them out, but making Wyatt choose between Lucy’s mom and all of Rittenhouse is a low blow.
TIMELESS airs Sunday 10/9c on NBC
