RECAP: The Arrangement “You Are Not Alone”

By  |

The second season of the E! Entertainment Network series The Arrangement is now halfway through its current run with a new episode airing on Sunday night.

Here is the synopsis of the episode entitled “You Are Not Alone:”

Kyle and Megan must weather a huge rumor that threatens to upend both their careers; Terence learns something surprising about DeAnn.

Situations are getting tense for Kyle West after his latest movie ended up being a big bomb, his relationship with fiancée Megan Morrison is in a rocky place with accusations by the press about an affair between Megan and Technicolor Highway co-star Xavier Hughes as well as their relationship supposedly being “fake” and Terence and wife DeAnn hitting a rough patch yet again over her revelation about her love for the recently departed Mason.

The best part of the episode was Megan and Kyle talking in the car about Terence and DeAnn trying to become parents. Megan saying, “these are the last people who should have kids” was priceless. I can’t believe that everyone isn’t yelling that at Terence and DeAnn. He is not dad material AT ALL – in fact, I can’t say it enough that I really don’t like Terence Anderson; and DeAnn really doesn’t seem interested in the whole idea. I have to admit that she’s probably jinxing their plans to get pregnant, as I just don’t see her excited about having a baby.

The hardest part of the episode was watching Megan and Kyle play acting with Nacine and Xavier – as a way to try to break the bad press over their latest controversy – but with Nacine not buying any of it. It also hurt a bit that Kyle told Megan virtually the same thing in the privacy of their home. Trouble in “fake” paradise, huh?

The growing relationship between Terence and Megan’s best friend Shaun is also very troubling; and his attending church with Shaun at the end of the episode – that actually gave me the creeps because he was such a STONE. And that look on his face when he glanced at the statue of Jesus. It was almost a sneer. I really think Shaun needs to stop drinking the IHM Kool-Aid!

As for the connection in the episode to the title – Megan is clearly not alone in her hatred of Terence and wanting to bring him – and by association IHM – down. But there is part of me that is doubting Zach, Hudson and Gail – the people Megan met with about their experiences with IHM – as I’m not sure if they can be trusted.

What are your thoughts on Terence and DeAnn having a baby? Do you think the truth about the contract between Megan and Kyle will be revealed? Can Megan trust Zach, Hudson and Gale? Please share your thoughts below.

The next new episode of The Arrangement will air on E! Entertainment on Sunday, April 15 at 9/8c.
