Comic Con

Going to Comic Con 2017

By  |

This afternoon I will be arriving in San Diego for Comic Con 2017. This will be my 16th year attending the pop culture event that typically finds over 130,000 people descending upon the city over the course of the 5-day event. As has been the case since 2009, I will be part of the NiceGirlsTV staff covering the event.

Tomorrow during Preview Night, as the Exhibition Hall opens up, pilot screenings will be held in Ballroom 20, including the new dramas Deception (ABC), Krypton (Syfy) and Black Lightning (The CW). I have to admit that I am curious about all three shows, and I am hopeful that they will be worth watching for more than just one episode.

Over the course of the next four days, I will hopefully be getting into panels for the TV shows Stitchers, Shadowhunters, Colony, Timeless, 12 Monkeys, Dark Matter, The Psych Reunion, The 100, Con Man, The Gifted, Outlander, Once Upon a Time, Riverdale, Salvation, Wynonna Earp and The Orville. I also hope to get into several panels that will focus on women and their roles within the industry; TV Guide’s Annual Fan Favorites panel; what’s hot in young adult fiction and a few others.

There will be lots of outside activities going on as well so please make sure to check us out on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and we will be posting article as soon as we can about our time at Comic Con 2017.

Let the fun (and mayhem) begin!!
