TIMELESS: An Answer, Maybe {Recap}
Timeless went back to Watergate and possibly gave the audience some questions about the mysterious Rittenhouse.
Lucy (Abigail Spenser), Wyatt (Matt Lanter) and Rufus (Malcolm Barnett) are forced to go back to 1972 when Nixon ordered the Watergate break-in, but rather than just looking into Watergate, the team learns that Nixon is worrying about Rittenhouse (it’s part of what is discussed in that missing eighteen minutes), but the Rittenhouse conspiracy goes deeper than just Nixon.
Garcia Flynn (Goran Visnijc) captures all of our team, holding Wyatt hostage while Lucy and Rufus are sent off to find out about Rittenhouse and a missing Doc. Rittenhouse wants Doc too, which is never good.
Doc (Tiffany Mack) is actually a person, and knows all of the names of Rittenhouse’s current members. Flynn wants her to get the answers about Rittenhouse as a means to save his family, and Rittenhouse obviously wants to control her still.
By the end of the episode, Lucy, Rufus and Wyatt both have better ideas of what Rittenhouse is about, but there are still more answers than questions. The man from Rittenhouse (John Getz), who has been following Rufus also is Lucy’s father.
To what end is Lucy really part of Rittenhouse’s plan if she’s been writing so many notes that she and Flynn use later?
Timeless airs on Mondays at 10PM/9PM Central on NBC.
