VIDEO! Stan Lee takes a brave stand against violence with ‘Hands of Respect’
We would like to share some good news! Ever optimistic comic book legend and prolific artist, Stan Lee, took the opportunity during this year’s San Diego Comic Con to weigh in on the violence present in today’s society. Mr. Lee was moved by our country’s struggle with inequality and decided to do something positive in response by creating “The Brotherhood” pin.
On his website created for the cause, Stan explained his work. “I’ve designed this BROTHERHOOD PIN! Two hands, black and white, clasped under the word ‘respect’ signifying unity. Isn’t that what America’s all about?”
You can purchase your brotherhood pin here for $10. Each purchase buys two pins, allowing the purchaser to keep one and give the other away in an effort to spread the message of mutual respect. We salute you Stan Lee for using your talent to shine a ray of light when it is most needed. EXCELSIOR!
