Wynonna Earp Recap: “Landslide”

By  |

Here is the official synopsis of last night’s episode of Wynonna Earp:

The Earp girls’ world has been rocked by their discovery in the Barrens, but Wynonna must swing back into action when a gambler is torn apart in his hotel room. Meanwhile, Doc Holliday meets a mysterious stranger on the road out of the Ghost River Triangle.

DNA Doesn’t Lie

Wynonna and Waverly Earp may have been shocked by their Aunt Gus’s revelation that Eve – the girl Wynonna saved from the hippie forest cult last week – was Willa (their long thought dead sister); but thanks to a favor pulled by Dolls, they learned that DNA doesn’t lie. Eve is Willa. Let the shock and awe continue.

Vampire Twins

In a town filled with revenants, it’s no great surprise there are also vampire twins, who were feasting not only local guys but also a high stakes player in town for the annual Poker Spectacular. It was their feasting on this victim, though, that put them on the radar of Wynonna and Dolls.

Juan Carlo, Good Samaritan or Something More Sinister

Just on the border of Purgatory, Doc Holiday’s inherited car broke down, leaving him stranded. Thankfully, he was “rescued” by a Good Samaritan named Juan Carlo, who turned out to be much more than expected. In fact, he gave Doc an ominous warning that in 4 days the winter solstice would take place and if that door opens, “she’ll lose”. Juan Carlo is obviously aware of Wynonna, but what else does he know?

Memories Are Made of These

It would seem that holding onto the Peacemaker helped jog Willa’s memory of their daddy training her to be the heir. Sadly, her memories of anything after that time are lost for now. Will she start to remember more before the season ends?

Mercenaries R Us

Just when things seemed to be getting better for Dolls and the Earp Sisters, they are attacked at the homestead by mercenaries, hired to take out Dolls by a proxy of Bobo Del Rey; but elder sisters Willa and Wynonna got the better of them by jumping out of the barn with automatic weapons. The only problems: Waverly suffered a flesh wound, getting grazed by a bullet and Bobo actually saved Willa’s life from the last remaining mercenary. What’s more Willa stopped Wynonna from finally taking down Bobo. ARGH!!

Who Took Down Doc

Following the “advice” of Juan Carlo, Doc was on his way back to Purgatory, but after his car broke down yet again, he was knocked out by a mysterious assailant. Who could this be?

The next new episode of the debut season of Wynonna Earp will air on Syfy on Friday, June 17 at 10/9c.
