WYNONNA EARP Recap: Two-Faced Jack

So much good TV in this episode…

Wynonna
She awakens from being kidnapped to find she is in a hospital bed, IV, gown and all. Our morgue tech from last episode is there and he is creepy. Wynonna thinks he is a revenant and she manages to get the upper hand. Holding a scalpel to his throat she is ready to grab her gun and end him, only the cut on his neck is bleeding. Actual blood. He’s not a revenant, just working for one. Maybe you’ve heard of him, his name is Jack, good with knives, kills women. Pretty sure he used the catchy name Jack the Ripper back in the day.
He manages to get Wynonna locked back onto a table. He is pretty happy about being able to cut her up. Wynonna tries her best psychology on him along with a few smart remarks to no avail. Right before he cuts into her stomach, Dolls and Doc show up. They free her and she sends Jack back to hell.

Dolls and Doc
These two partnered up to find Wynonna and it was hilarious. Perfect counter story to Wynonna being held by a serial killer. They go to an underground fight club where they meet up with a revenant named Whisky Jack. They need him to tell them where the tunnel opening is. The tunnel that he used during prohibition. That is where they think Wynonna is being held. He agrees to help them, but first they have to fight. We get a shirtless Dolls (thank you writers) and Doc in a tank top (hello there arms), in the ring, throwing down. Doc lands some good punches as does Dolls before Doc throws one final punch laying Doll’s out.
By the end of the episode they are a long way from being friends, but they also come to an agreement about putting up with each other. Looks like they will continue to not kill each other for Wynonna.
