What To Expect on TV in June

It’s hard to believe that in a little over a week the 2015-2016 TV season will come to an end and then just a little over a week beyond that the 2016 summer TV season will begin in earnest. There will be a lot of summer shows coming back and the following are the shows and made-for-TV movies in June that I am looking forward to watching:

RETURNING DRAMAS:

The summer dramas that will be back throughout the month include the final seasons of The CW series Beauty And the Beast on June 2 at 9 PM; Rizzoli & Isles on TNT on June 6 at 9 PM and Pretty Little Liars on FreeForm at 8 PM.

Other summer shows that will be back with new seasons are The Last Ship on TNT at 9 PM on June 12; Major Crimes on TNT at 10 PM and The Fosters on FreeForm at 8 PM on June 20.

SERIES FINALE:

On June 21, the series finale of Person of Interest will air on CBS at 10 PM.

MADE-FOR-TV MOVIES:

There are a lot of Hallmark movies that will be airing during June, including:

Wedding Bells will debut on the Hallmark Channel on June 3 at 9 PM, starring Danica McKellar (The Wonder Years) and Kavan Smith (When Calls the Heart).

Ms. Matched will debut on the Hallmark Channel on June 4 at 9 PM, starring Alexa Penavega (Spy Kids franchise and Nashville) and Shawn Roberts (the Hallmark Channel movies Recipe for Love and I Do, I Do, I Do).

Stop the Wedding will debut on the Hallmark Channel on June 11 at 9 PM, starring Rachel Boston (Witches of East End) and Niall Matter (Eureka).

An Aurora Teagarden Mystery: Three Bedrooms, One Corpse will debut on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries on June 12 at 9 PM, starring Candace Cameron Bure and Marilu Henner.

The Convenient Groom will debut on Hallmark Channel on June 18 at 9 PM, starring Vanessa Marcil (General Hospital) and David Sutcliffe (Cracked, Proof and Gilmore Girls).

Murder She Baked: A Deadly Recipe will debut on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries on June 19 debut at 9 PM, starring Alison Sweeney and Cameron Mathison.

Center Stage: On Pointe will debut on Lifetime on June 25 at 8 PM with Peter Gallagher, Sascha Radestsky, Ethan Stiefel and Kenny Wormald reprising their roles from the previous Center Stage movies as well as Nicole Munoz (Defiance).

The Wedding March will debut on the Hallmark Channel on June 25 at 9 PM, starring Jack Wagner and Josie Bissett.

Flower Shop Mystery: Dearly Depotted will debut on b on June 26 at 9 PM, starring Brooke Shields and Brennan Elliott.
