Wynonna Earp: Thoughts on “Diggin’ Up Bones”

So – first things first – Doll’s spent part of this episode without his shirt on. It was gloriously distracting.

It was a nice visual to start off because the rest of the episode involved a lot of Bo Bo. That “man” is a jerk. Doll’s and Wynonna go after him, but come up short. Bo Bo is in holding when his lawyer comes and gets him released. That’s right, Bo Bo has a lawyer. Turns out she is a witch. THE Witch that Doc Holiday has been looking for. Did you guys see Buffy? She was very shades of Drusila. It was a crazy powerful awesome mess.

Bo Bo and our witch, Constance, are working together. She is using him to reassemble two skeletons. Nothing good can come from that.

While all of that is going on we meet the Judge. I honestly can’t remember his name, so we are going to go with Judge. He remembers Wynonna, as all people in a position of power in Purgatory do. He isn’t very nice to her, in fact he isn’t a very nice person period. Doll’s stands his ground with him though and sticks up for Wynonna.

Speaking of Wynonna, she spends the episode working with a revenant. He agrees to help her find the picture his boyfriend took back in the day of The Seven standing over her father’s body. (A picture that happens to be in the Judge’s office – does that mean he is a revenant? I knew he was a jerk!) In exchange she helps him find his boyfriend, a fellow revenant. Once Wynonna finds him she can kill them both, they have made their peace. He holds up his end and Wynonna holds up hers. She puts both of them down and it is sad. That’s right, a revenant that wasn’t bad/evil.

And that leads us to some outdoor shenanigans between Doc and Wynonna. I’m not sure the logistics of sleeping with your Great Grandfather’s best friend, but she did and she appeared to enjoy herself.
