How they fit so much into one episode I don’t know – but a lot happened this week.

Cassy
Can we talk about her for a moment? A year in 2043 and she is a heartless angry person. She is friends with Deacon for heaven sakes! Not only that she actually threatens Ramse’s son when Ramse ends up back in 2044 and he doesn’t have the information she needs. By the end of the episode Cole explains to Cassy that while the mission matters, killing your way through time isn’t the way to do it. She seemed to have really heard him. I hope so because this cold Cassy isn’t going to work for me.

Jennifer
She may be crazy, but she also saved Cole. James refused to kill her in 2016, despite Cassy demanding it. Cole tells her she has to leave, she has to get out of this mess and find her purpose. In turn, in 2044, as “Mother” of The Daughters she forces Jones to go back to 2016 for Cole. She finally found her purpose and maybe finally silenced the voices in her head.

Time
The team did manage to change time, they delayed the virus for two years. The effect of time changing around Jones was pretty awesome. The changing time line did come with a comedic moment. Apparently Jones finally let her guard down. She moved one of the scientists into her room. The uncomfortable look when he mentioned their sleeping arrangements was fantastic.

Next week we head back to 1944 and run into some of The Messengers. Can’t wait!
