What happens when aliens living among us decide to take power?

Hunters uses Whitley Strieber’s best selling novel, Alien Hunter, as a jumping-off point to create an altogether different threat to mankind. These aliens, termed “Hunters” look like normal people on the surface and have infiltrated all facets of human society.
Hunters are a very auditory species and communicate in a series of clicks and chirps. Like other terrorist organizations, they embed their sinister instructions in songs distributed via social media.

“We are many. We are everywhere. The end begins now.”

Characters:

Flynn Carroll (Nathan Phillips) is a soldier turned FBI agent who’s wife, Abby, is kidnapped. Flynn is recruited by the Exo-Terrorisim Unit (ETU) when his search for his wife crosses paths with their investigation.

Details: Flynn struggles with PTSD, suffers from hallucinations and severe anxiety. He took in his former partner’s autistic daughter, Emme Dawson, when her father was killed. Flynn has a scar on his arm that is of particular interest to the ETU team.

Allison Regan (Britne Oldford) is a valued ETU member and is vastly different from the other members of her unit–she is a Hunter. Her alien status brings up several key questions. What would lead an alien to turn against her own species? Can she resist the pull of her own kind?

Details: Regan shares a common, yet undetermined affliction by all Hunters, an odd silver rash.

Lionel McCarthy (Julian McMahon) is the ETU’s most well known and dangerous Hunter. McCarthy is as ruthless as he is cunning and charming. His has a fascination with pop culture and is savvy in the ways and nature of the human race.

Details: McCarthy is an amazing DJ and has a flair for dramatic hair.

Abby Carroll (Laura Gordon) is a loving wife, musician and teacher. Abby is the glue that keeps her family together. She is kind, caring and generous, so why would the Hunters choose her to abduct?

Details: Abby wears hearing aids.

Truss Jackson ( Lewis Fitz-Gerald) is the Leader of the ETU and is the quiet, calm center of the team. He is unflappable under pressure and unafraid of making difficult decisions required in defense of mankind.

Details: Jackson is a devout Mormon.

Emme Dawson ( Shannon Berry) is the autistic daughter of Flynn’s slain partner and currently lives with Flynn and Abby Carroll. Emme has Asperger’s Syndrome which can be both a blessing and a curse.

Details: Emme is prone to self-destructive behavior when under stress.

• The Exo-Terrorisim Unit (ETU), is a secret government organization dedicated to eradicating aliens which they term ‘Hunters.’

• The ETU have some impressive sonic weapons that they have reverse engineered from seized Hunter technology.
