Happy Holiday Wishes

It’s been seven years since I joined the staff of NiceGirlsTV, and it still amazes me that I have had this incredible opportunity to write for such a great site and work alongside all the wonderful women on this staff.

With Christmas just a few days away, I had to share the items that are on my wish list this holiday season.

SHIELD

1. When Calls the Heart – This heartwarming Hallmark Channel series started out as a two-hour movie starring Lost alum Maggie Grace and actor Stephen Amell before he landed the plum lead role on The CW series Arrow. That movie turned into a weekly TV series starring Erin Krakow (Army Wives) and Daniel Lissing (Last Resort), which aired its second season earlier this year. And, this weekend the show’s two-hour New Year’s movie will also air with the third season set to return in February 2016. I would love to get all of the When Calls the Heart movies and episodes on DVD for my collection.

Adele

2. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. – While the show started out strong in its first season debut, the show had its share of ups and downs during its freshman year on ABC. But season two and now season three have really made its mark (even though not enough viewers are watching). Regardless of that fact, I’d like to also add the three seasons of this show to my collection.

Lifehouse

3. Music: Lifehouse and Adele – I’m a little behind in my music purchases this year, but one of my favorite bands in all the world – Lifehouse – released their latest album in May and it’s still on the top of my wish list. And, as we all know, Adele – the queen of music – released her newest album just a little over a month ago. I desperately need – no WANT – those CD’s in my collection as soon as possible.

Outlander

4. Outlander – Since the debut last year of the Starz series based on the worldwide best-selling novel by Diana Gabaldon, I have become a bit obsessed with Outlander and especially its star Sam Heughan. That being said, I need to get the first season on DVD but not just the regular DVD set but the Ultimate Collection Box Set that has a keepsake box, a collectible book, an engraved flask, the season one soundtrack and a curated collection of photographs. Like I said, obsessed. Oh and there are the Funko Pop dolls for Jamie and Claire that are on my wish list too.

Outlander Funko Pop Dolls

5. Passport – This may seem like an odd item for any wish list, but considering I have never had a passport in my life but have always wanted to visit Prince Edward Island in Canada and, someday, get to Australia and Ireland, I think it is beyond time that I get myself a passport, don’t you?

Passport

Those are my top five items for Christmas this year. What are yours? Please share below and have a wonderful and safe Christmas!!
