Women Behind the Scenes Spotlight: Denise The
Today’s Women Behind the Scenes spotlight is shone on producer and writer Denise The.
Denise got her start back in 2008 as a member of the production staff and as a writer on the short-lived FOX TV series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles based, of course, on the Terminator movie franchise that starred Game of Thrones actress Lena Headey and pop culture favorite Summer Glau.
She followed that up with working as a writer for the CBS drama Cold Case that starred Kathryn Morris and Danny Pino. She also worked as an executive story editor and writer for the CBS series Medium that starred Academy Award winner Patricia Arquette.
Denise’s most recent work has been on the popular CBS series Person of Interest where she has worked since the show’s first season in 2011. Over the years, she has been promoted to co-producer, producer, supervising producer and co-executive producer as well as serving as a writer. In fact, she wrote the episode where fan favorite character Detective Joss Carter was killed and she also wrote the infamous “If-Then-Else” episode where all of the main characters were repeatedly killed in various simulations.
Person of Interest will be back for its fifth season sometime in early 2016 on CBS.
