THE FLASH: “Family of Rogues” {Recap}

Captain Cold was back again, only this time it was a family affair. We all met Father Snart, who turns out is a piece of crud that isn’t worthy of much, who wants to kill his daughter and damage his son yet again. In trying to kill Lisa, Cisco also gets a little love. But at what point do we want all of our heroes being tempted by a darker force in Center City? Lisa’s strong and likes Cisco, sure, but she’s still not a streak that will leave him disappointed. Right?

But are Captain Cold and Golden Glider really the biggest of the concerns around STAR Labs? It seems that the singularity should be – especially with that great twist at the end? Is Wells/Thawne back for good? And what is he planning on doing to Barry in all the multi-verses?

But the family drama isn’t just for the villains for this week. Iris’ mom returned to Center City and wants to try to meet Iris again. Joe, as the best dad in this ‘verse, wants nothing to do with it. But will denying Iris her mom do harm to what bond they’ve forged over the years? I think only a few more episodes will explore that.
