DOMINION 2.12 – ‘Day of Wrath’ Tantrums & Amphora Hangovers

INCOMING! Gabriel attacks Michael as the city burns. Come on guys can’t you just fight it out via Rock Paper Scissors?? Gabe is swimming in darkness and won’t listen to his brother. The two siblings spend the entire episode beating the stuffings out of the other right up until Michael reveals the existence of the long lost Lucifer.

Vega is slowly recovering from it’s Amphora induced haze and Arika is looking a little worse for wear. Claire asks her former foe for help on the basis of ’The enemy of my enemy.” Sadly, Arika is done and wants to take her ball and go home. Wow! I thought the chick was made of sterner stuff!

No matter what the circumstances, Claire doesn’t have time to ponder Arika’s exit as Julian Army depends en masse upon Vega. Noma and Alex unite just like in the good-ole-days and make a most excellent fighting team. Noma knows this time, it’s for real and decides it’s True Confession Time.  “If we’re gonna die, I’m glad I’m going to go down fighting next to the man I love.”

Daddy Whele survived his own hanging like a boss and calmly begins to survey his options which are particularly grim. Claire joins him in the War Room in the midst of lamenting his plight. She confronts David regarding the death of her unborn child and then proves herself a true leader in refraining from finishing David’s execution.

Who knew David had it in him! The elder Whele came clean on his actions and actually seems contrite regarding his past actions. “I am sorry for everything I have done.” I didn’t believe him before, but when he shot William to save Vega I changed my mind. Geez! A girl could get whiplash from these changing alliances! If only he had hit him a little harder in the head sooner!

Alex, Noma, Claire and their volunteer Resistance Force face an impossible task. The city is overrun by Eight-ball’s thanks to William’s final act and all seems to be lost. And, here we smack right into our cliffhanger as Alex strides confidently into the oncoming tide of evil!
