Video Interview Spotlight: Trenna Keating!

We continued our conversation with Trenna Keating at Dragon Con and asked about her other roles. Regarding other work that she wished more people knew about two things came to mind. A short-lived Canadian Series Combat Hospital and Orpahn Black. “I am just praying that they bring me back because I love that show and I just had a lot of fun doing it.” That character is so much fun. She’s a pill-popping Soccer Mom.”

Trenna also mentioned that she’s known Tatiana Maslany since she was twelve and “It’s been such a wild ride watching her rise and do this show. We’re all very proud of her.”

Trenna revealed her Fan Girl moment was with Hodor from Game of Thrones. “Of course I behaved myself but inside I was like: O my god! It’s the game of thrones guys”

We asked Trenna what the best piece of advice she had been given. She replied with two answers. “Carve your own image or somebody will carve it for you.” And,”Make sure that you don’t underestimate yourself because….often other people will underestimate you.”

On staying centered in this industry: ” I wish I could say that I do yoga, meditate and do pilates…….but I have really great friends.” “I think the most important thing to me is my family and friends and just keeping grounded that way.” Great advice for all of us.
