More Comic Con 2015 Outlander Video and Sam Heughan News

By  |

It’s been a few weeks since we’ve posted video from the Outlander panel held during Comic Con 2015 (to be honest it’s overdue) and with today’s news that Outlander lead Sam Heughan has been cast in an upcoming Screen Gems film, now seemed like an appropriate time to post more videos.

First, let’s take a look at the news about Sam: He and actress Melissa Benoist, who will star in this fall’s CBS superhero series Supergirl, will star in the love story film Oxford. According to Deadline, the movie will focus on an American Rhodes Scholar (Benoist), recently arriving at Oxford University, falls for an arrogant teaching assistant (Heughan) who is quietly fighting terminal cancer. When she finds out the reason he is so standoffish, they make the most of each day, traveling the world together.

There are no details on when the film will start shooting or when it will hit the big screen, however.

And for Outlander fans trying to survive Droughtlander 2.0, here are two more videos from the Outlander panel at Comic Con 2015:
