KILLJOYS – 1.07 ‘A Glitch in the System’ Commencing Persuasion my a$$!

John found a lost ship hidden behind and asteroid and yes, I agree, he is Lucy’s favorite. However, none of that matters when Dutch calls “Mine!” It becomes clear upon arrival that all is not well. Was that a Space Zombie?

And what’s with the creepy in and out music? Clearly these guys are not familiar with A Space Odyssey.When Zombie Dude spaced himself I would be SO out of there!

As Dutch and D’avin interrogate the newly discovered Hogan, John is busy trying to sort out Lucy’s malfunction. D’vain bonded with the former solder and agreed to accompany him in search of medical supplies while Dutch looks for deep suits.

D’avin is rather rudely attacked by his new bestie and discovers Hogan has Wolverine like healing properties. Hogan locks D’avin up and “implants’ him with same kind of truth serum from hell. “Commencing Persuasion” my ass!

While the older brother gets interrogated, Dutch and John scramble to free him. Under questioning D’avin remembers some truth’s from it’s past and it’s not pretty. He killed his entire squad.

Once again the girl comes to the rescue! Dutch entered the scene before we found out more and ever so cleverly got herself injected with the same destroy and repair nanites that were attacking D’avin.

Dutch turned the tables and used her infection to heal her as she space waked sans Deep Suit right in to Lucy’s embrace. As it turns out the computer does like John more! Called it!

Observations & Questions:
• “I know what it means to be ashamed of what you did and who you are.” Truth.
• There are worse things in life than suffering through decontamination treatment with a nude D’avin.
• Is the Doc planning on remove those neuro-dampeners with her tongue? I don’t think that’s how it works.
• Is Dutch’s Daddy/Trainer real or imagined?
