Yet Another Casting Announcement for Outlander

By  |

Laurence Dobiesz

British actor Laurence Dobiesz has joined the cast of the second season of Outlander where he will play Alex Randall, the gentle, loving and king younger brother of the one and only sadistic Captain Black Jack Randall (series regular Tobias Menzies).

Alex is also a curate and secretary for the Duke of Sandringham. As book readers know, Alex is at first mistaken to be Black Jack by Jamie (series lead Sam Heughan) and Claire (series lead Caitriona Balfe) because of their resemblance to one another.

Outlander is currently underway with filming of the second season and the show is expected to (hopefully) be back on Starz sometime in early 2016.
