THE MINDY PROJECT LIVES ON!

Fans of The Mindy Project can finally breathe again – the show will (thankfully) continue to live on, thanks to Hulu having the brains to pick up the show after FOX decided to let the show go last week.

This past week and a bit has had The Mindy Project fans on edge after word spread that FOX would not be picking up the show for a fourth season. Surely this wasn’t the end for the show? Our heroine is still in the early stages of her pregnancy! We have to witness Baby Lahiri-Castellano being born! We need to see what Mindy and Danny would be like as parents! Not to mention the crazy things Morgan will get up to as designated baby sitter! And we haven’t even met Mindy’s parents yet! All these thoughts sent The Mindy Project fans in a frenzy. Then rumours started to surface that Hulu were in talks for picking up the show for multiple seasons and then the show’s creator and star herself, Mindy Kaling posted a video on Instagram that closed with her winking at the camera, and so fans kept the faith that there was still hope for the show.

Finally it is confirmed that there is! It has been announced that the show’s fourth season will air on Hulu and that it’s been supersized to 26 episodes! Hulu will then make a decision on renewing the show for further seasons once the show premieres in its new home. I for one, am definitely remaining optimistic about the show’s fate! No news yet on when the season will start, or how Hulu acquiring the show will affect international viewers, but I’m just relieved that the show is going to live on and I know that there are many fans out there who share those feelings with me! #inmindywetrust Stay tuned to nicegirlstv.com when season four does start airing, as I’ll be here recapping each ep!
