Lost Girl Mini-Recap: “Big in Japan”

By  |

In the aftermath of Kenzi leaving for the property in Spain left to her by her late boyfriend Hale, Bo Dennis is adjusting to her new “normal”, living without her best friend and pseudo-sister and, worst of all, dealing with no sex drive. For a succubus such as she, that is on the level of near death, literally and figuratively.

Here are the highlights from the episode:

• Bo tries to determine what could be causing her lack of desire, seeking out help from former girlfriend Lauren and even her grandfather Trick (that’s not awkward at all?!);
• Lauren is investigating the unusual deaths of the people in that elevator from last week’s episode, including a pretty young woman who died with no visible signs of trauma or injury;
• Lauren seeking out help from Dyson, wanting to learn how to fight, in order to defend herself against recent death threats for which she’s been receiving after taking The Morrigan’s power from the Dark Fae ‘witch’;
• Tamsin and Bo working as an unlikely investigative team to determine who is trying to kill a much revered Japanese war hero;
• Bo being seriously injured by this supposed war hero (who actually took the acclaim and reverence from his own sister) and almost dying;
• Lauren’s lab assistant being killed by the dead woman from the elevator who somehow was resurrected.
