Lost Girl Mini-Recap: “Like Hell, Part 2”
The continuation of the two-part season premiere of Lost Girl aired last night on Syfy, finding Kenzi placed in the coffin in her cemetery plot because Bo traded her soul for Kenzi’s while in the Underworld. Thankfully Dyson and Lauren were able to dig Kenzi out of her grave, but saving Bo from the Underworld proved to be a little more difficult
Here are the highlights from the episode:
• Lauren and Kenzi were visited by a ghost, who they were convinced was Bo…if only;
• The ghost turned out to be some other spirit intent on not only getting a little too frisky with Lauren; but once it became corporeal, it was intent on attacking Lauren;
• Thankfully Kenzi was prepared and wasted that crazy Kabuki-looking ghost
• Bo learned that her father is Hades (yep, that Hades) and her step-mother is Persephone (yep, that Persephone) [and let’s not even talk about Bo getting it on with her step-mom, before she knew she was her step-mom, in order to heal from an attack from a maze gnome – just too weird and icky, right?!]
• One of Tamsin’s Valkyrie sisters was sent “top-side” to retrieve a new soul in place of losing Kenzi’s soul; but…
• Enter Dyson who tried to divert the Valkyrie sister to – of all people Vex – and then Tamsin scared the sister off (but that’s only going to be temporary, I’m sure)
• The family was reunited for a welcome back from the dead dinner only to have Kenzi decided to leave for good (we knew this was coming, but it still hurt to see Kenzi leave, right?!), heading for property in Spain left to her in Hale’s will;
• And, Bo lighting Persephone’s candle in her window and that woman in the elevator ending up with the candle in her hand and all those screams of the people in the elevator with her.
It is safe to guess (don’t you think?!) that the woman in the elevator is somehow going to be part of the new big bad that’s coming for Bo – in addition to her still angry daddy.
