Lost Girl Mini-Recap: “Like Hell, Part 1”

By  |

Lost Girl Anna SilkLast night the fifth and final season of Lost Girl got underway on Syfy with Bo Dennis (series lead Anna Silk) on the hunt for a pair of shoes that will lead her to the underworld in order to save her bestie and pseudo little sister Kenzi (former series regular Ksenia Solo).

Here are the highlights from the episode:

• These ‘special’ gateway shoes were old and tattered, but once on Bo’s feet they led her straight to the underworld that more resembled a five-star hotel;
• Once there Bo hijacked a maid’s uniform and found her way to Kenzi’s room;
• Kenzi was actually living in luxury with all the chocolates and sweets she could wish for and all the couture she could ever crave;
• Tamsin (series regular Rachel Skarsten), using the soul of dying Fae, traveled to the Underworld, based on a demand by a very concerned Lauren (series regular Zoie Palmer); but once there, she’s not quite herself, going all Jack Torrance (from The Shining) on Kenzi for a short amount of time;
• Kenzi was led to believe that she and the recently departed Hale (former series regular K.C. Collins) are set to get married; and while hesitant at first, she latched onto the idea with zeal only to have that whole event unravel; and,
• Bo realized that the wedding was nothing more than a rouse by that mysterious caller on all of those black phones with the blue glowing light, which led to Kenzi being sent back to her own body inside her coffin (creepy!!) and Bo ended up in the hotel’s mysterious elevator going to God only knows where.

The path that Bo will travel this season will be a very deliberate one: rescuing Kenzi at all costs. How she will go about doing that will be very interesting to see for sure.
