MODERN FAMILY: RASH DECISIONS {RECAP}

After a short break, Modern family is back and Stella (the dog) was the star of the show this week.  Let’s get to it!

Baby Joe had a rash and the doctor thought he might be allergic to Stella. So, they had to separate them for a week to see if Joe’s rash would go away. Gloria arranged for Stella to stay with Cam and Mitch.  Cam loved the idea of keeping Stella and spoiled her from the moment she got there.

Jay suffered from separation anxiety and had to make sure Stella knew who loved her the most. Jay was very concerned about Stella and called Mitch to check on her several times. Mitch didn’t remember his father being that attentive to him when he was a child; he just dropped him off at day camp without question. Stella was his little angel and he made sure she knew it.

Baby Joe’s rash cleared up and Gloria said that Stella couldn’t stay there anymore for Joe’s sake. Jay was devastated but asked Cam to keep her. Cam was happy to keep Stella (he had already bought her a new collar, a t-shirt with her face on it and a jersey). Jay had to say goodbye to Stella and it was brutal. Jay got through it but Cam was tearful.

When Jay got home he noticed Baby Joe’s rash was back, so it meant it wasn’t Stella he was allergic too. It ended up being Gloria’s expensive face cream and she was not happy about giving it up. Jay couldn’t wait to bring Stella home!

He went to get Stella and Cam pretended that Lily was attached to Stella but Lily could not care less. She was glad that she wouldn’t have to hear Stella’s snoring anymore. It was Cam who was attached.  Jay got his little angel back and all was right with the world.

Honorable Mention: Alex had her interview with Princeton and overheard the interviewer saying how boring each candidate was, and they were all the same. Alex sat down for her interview and showed how smart she was, but also channeled Haley by complimenting her dress and telling a story about Haley and her friend as if it was her story. The girl was so impressed! Alex took it a little too far though and called her a slut (in a friendly way like Haley does with her friends) and I’m not sure how that was received. Fingers crossed she gets in to Princeton!
