SCAD PRESENTS: aTVfest FEBRUARY 5-7 IN ATLANTA
The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) presents the third annual aTVfest, drawing in the global talents of producers, directors, writers and actors to SCAD venues in Atlanta, GA. The festival celebrates preeminent television and media productions and will be held Thursday, Feb. 5 through Saturday, Feb. 7.
The 2015 aTVfest will take place at several SCAD Atlanta locations, including the SCAD show theater, the Digital Media Center and the main SCAD Atlanta campus at 1600 Peachtree St.
Timothy Hutton will receive the ICON Award, Terrence Howard will receive the Spotlight Award and the students from “How To Get Away With Murder” will receive the Rising Star Award. SCAD will host premiere screenings and panels including FOX’s “Empire,” FOX’s “The Following,” HBO’s “Girls,” ABC’s “How To Get Away With Murder,” WGN’s “Salem,” FOX’s “The Mindy Project.” Panels include Reality TV, Press Roundtable, Nickelodeon, Casting Directors and Atlanta Management & Casting.
Terrance Howard (Empire), Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project), Shane West (Salem) and Andrew Rannells (Girls) are just a few actors that are scheduled to appear at the festival.
