12 MONKEYS Recap: Cassandra Complex

12 Monkeys is a crazy trip and I am not sure how to recap this episode except to take it year by year.

Cole and Cassy do the ‘here’s how you hold a gun and shoot thing’ that guys do with girls on TV. It’s always cute and this is no different.
Cole eats like a scavenger – I know why but it’s still yucky.
“Haiti is dangerous…there are gangs.” Uh – what do you think it’s like where Cole is from?

The lady in charge keeps talking about saving souls while she is smoking. The irony of saving lives while smoking is amusing to me.
As if they don’t have enough to deal with now there is a gang of marauders coming for them? My word can they catch a break?

2014
Cassy is a little crazy to go running into a tent full of people infected with who knows what without a mask on.
Oh! Cassy and the hot doctor guy getting it on in her hotel room. Not that I blame her, he’s hot and…well that’s it…he’s hot. No other reason needed
Sunglasses, a Hawaiian shirt and a baseball hat do not an undercover look make – I’m talking to you Cole.
“I’m not what you’d call a people person.” Is the understatement of the century coming from the tall man in the black hat. Can we talk for a second about just how creepy that man is? The whistling, the three piece suits, even in the middle of Haiti, spells super creepy.

I have reservations about shows that time travel – I find it gets hard to keep up with everything that is going on. However 12 Monkeys so far has it down. I’m loving this show and can’t wait to see where it goes.
