February TV Calendar

The following list provides the dates of the returning cable and major network dramas as well as new cable and major network dramas, made-for-TV movies and mini-series that will air during February:

February 1 – The Blacklist will air a new episode after the Super Bowl on NBC

NOTE: The Blacklist will then move to its new night and time on February 5 at 9 PM.

February 3 – Forever is back on ABC at 10 PM after a short break

February 3 – Being Mary Jane will return to BET for its second season at 10 PM

February 4 – Nashville will be back from its winter break on ABC at 10 PM

Allegiance

February 5 – The new NBC drama Allegiance will debut at 10 PM

Show Synopsis: Relative newcomer Gavin Stenhouse plays Alex O’Connor, a young idealistic CIA analyst specializing in Russian affairs, who learns a shocking secret about his close-knit, affluent family when it is revealed that his parents, Mark (Scott Cohen, from Necessary Roughness and Gilmore Girls) and Katya (Hope Davis from The Newsroom) are covert Russian spies deactivated decades ago. But today the Kremlin has re-enlisted them into service as they plan a terrorist operation inside the U.S. border that will bring America to its knees. Years ago, Russian-born Katya was tasked by the KGB to recruit American businessman Mark O’Connor as a spy – and the two fell in love. A deal was struck: As long as Katya remained an asset for Russia, and it was agreed that her services could be called on in the future, she would be allowed to marry Mark and move to America. After years in America building a happy life and without word from Moscow, they thought they had escaped. Now it seems that the new Mother Russia has one more mission – turning Alex into a spy.

February 6 – The new Hallmark Channel movie I Do, I Do, I Do will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: An architect heads to the altar with her fiancé, unsure of her marriage and their future. She relives her disastrous wedding day, put together by her fiancé’s overbearing mother, over and over until, with the help of his brother, she begins to face her biggest fears and discover what she really wants in herself and in her life. The cast includes Autumn Reeser (The O.C.) and Antonio Cupo (Bomb Girls).

February 6 – The new ION movie Meet My Valentine will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNPOSIS: Tom (Scott Wolf from Perception and The Night Shift) pulls out all the stops to take care of the two women in his life: his 8-year-old daughter, Phoebe, and his wife, Valentine (Courtney Ford from Revenge), before confiding in her that he only has months to live. In tying up loose ends for his beloved spouse, Tom thinks of everything, even embarking upon an audition process to find his most worthy successor. Throughout the ordeal, Tom quickly realizes that he doesn’t know much about her anymore, but soon finds himself falling in love again with Valentine like it was the very first time.

February 7 – The new Hallmark Channel movie So You Said Yes will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: A woman who avoids relationships opens a bridal shop with a vintage slant, and goes toe to toe with the snooty owner of the town’s classical bridal shop, only to find out she’s the mother of her new boyfriend. The cast includes Kellie Martin, Chad Willet and Bruce Boxleitner.

February 7 – The final two hours of the second season of Transporter: The Series will air on TNT at 9 and 10 PM

February 7 – The two-hour series finale of Red Band Society will air on FOX from 8 to 10 PM

February 8 – The Walking Dead will be back on AMC at 9 PM

Cloudy with a Chance of LoveFebruary 8 – Cloudy With a Chance of Love is the new Hallmark Channel movie that will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Quirky meteorologist Deb spends most of her time finishing the passionate pursuit of her meteorology Ph.D. The wind of change starts blowing, however, when a handsome news director recruits her to fill in as an on-air weather personality. While the new job comes with a glamorous makeover that catches the eyes of both viewers and her handsome colleague, it also takes her away from her studies at a critical time. When her TV job, academic commitments and new romance swell into a perfect storm, Deb must decide if her future will be spent studying the sky, or broadcasting over the air. The movie stars Katie Leclerc, Gregory Harrison, Stacey Dash and Michael Rady.

February 8 – The new UP Channel movie Christian Mingle debuts at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Gwyneth Hayden (Lacey Chabert, The Tree That Saved Christmas and Party of Five) is a 30-something marketing executive with a top-notch career, killer wardrobe, dream apartment and great friends. She thinks the only thing missing is a man. In a moment of inspired desperation, she fills out a profile on the dating website ChristianMingle.com hoping to find Mr. Right. However, Gwyneth’s attempts at impressing her dream guy end in disaster when he calls her out on her “faux faith.” In an honest realization, she sees her superficial life for what it really is, and she’s driven to create a personal relationship with God. The cast includes Jonathan Patrick Moore (“The L.A. Complex,” “Neighbours”), David Keith (Hawaii Five-0), veteran actress Morgan Fairchild and Corbin Bernson (Psych), who wrote and directed the film.

February 8 and 9 – The two-night series open of Better Call Saul (the precursor to Breaking Bad) will debut on AMC both nights at 10 PM

Show Synopsis: This series is set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) meets Walter White. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny and hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside and often against Jimmy is “fixer” Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks). The cast includes Patrick Fabian (Veronica Mars and Joan of Arcadia), Michael Mando (Orphan Black) and legendary actor Michael McKean.

NOTE: The series will then regularly air on Monday nights at 10 PM.

The Slap

February 12 – The new NBC series The Slap, based on the Australian series of the same name, will debut at 8 PM

Show Synopsis: As Hector (Peter Sarsgaard from An Education) tries to navigate family politics, awkward friendships and the young woman he is dangerously captivated by, the built-up tension explodes when Hector’s hot-headed cousin slaps another couple’s misbehaving child. Everyone is understandably stunned, and the party abruptly ends with the child’s parents vowing legal action. But what the hosts and guests don’t know is that this moment will ignite a chain of events that will uncover long-buried secrets within this group of friends and family. The cast includes Peter Sarsgaard (An Education), Thandie Newton (Rogue), Melissa George (Alias and the original The Slap), Zachary Quinto (Star Trek and Heroes), Thomas Sadoski (The Newsroom), Uma Thurman (Kill Bill), Brian Cox (The Game) and Marin Ireland (The Divide).

February 12 – The season finale of the Sundance drama Babylon will air at 10 PM

February 13 – The new series Bosch will debut on Amazon

Show Synopsis: The first hour-long 10-episode series is based on the Michael Connelly best-selling books about Harry Bosh (Titus Welliver from Lost and Sons of Anarchy), the relentless LAPD homicide detective, who pursues the killer of a 13-year-old boy while standing trial in federal court on accusations that he murdered a suspected killer in cold blood. The cast includes Amy Aquino (Being Human), Lance Reddick (Fringe), Annie Wersching and Sarah Clarke (both from 24) and Jason Gedrick (Luck).

February 14 – The new Hallmark Channel movie All of My Heart will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: A young caterer’s life suddenly changes course when she inherits a country home and learns she must share it with a career-obsessed Wall Street trader. At first, these opposites do not attract, but feelings begin to change when they find themselves having to work side-by-side to restore their newly acquired home. The cast includes Lacey Chabert, Brennan Elliott and Edward Asner

February 14 – The Lifetime original movie Back to School Mom will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: After years of traveling the world, at the age of 41, Mary Thomas has made the decision to return to college and finish her degree. Back at her old university, she befriends her “peer tutor” – only to learn that he is actually the son she gave up 20 years earlier. The cast includes Kimberly Elise, Loretta Devine, Rick Fox, Garcelle Beauvais, Harry Lennix and Denzel Whitaker.

Rizzoli & IslesFebruary 15 – The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries original movie A Gift of Miracles will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: A pragmatic PhD candidate must let go of her logic when she finds a list of items to give away written by the late mother she never knew. With the encouragement of her enthusiastic new mentor, she attempts to return everything on the list and begins to encounter unexplainable coincidences that lead her to understand the world’s smallest marvels have the greatest meaning. The cast includes Rachel Boston (Witches of East End), Jesse Moss (Cedar Cove) and veteran actress Rita Moreno.

February 15 – The 2-hour season finale of CSI will air on CBS at 9 PM

February 16 through 18 – The 3-night mini-series The Book of Negroes will air on BET at 8 PM each night

Mini-Series Synopsis: Aunjanue Ellis (NCIS: Los Angeles and Sleepy Hollow) will stars as Aminata Diallo, who survived the Middle Passage, fought with the British and was part of the great migration to Canada. It will detail Aminata from the age of 11, when she was kidnapped in Mali and sold into slavery, and then as she spends her life desperately trying to find her way home. The cast includes veteran actor Lou Gossett, Jr., Cuba Gooding Jr. and Lyric Bent (Lost Girl).

February 16 – The season finale of State of Affairs will air on NBC at 10 PM

February 17 – Rizzoli & Isles and Perception will both be back on TNT at 9 and 10 PM respectively

February 18 – The Mentalist will air its two-hour series finale on CBS at 8 PM

February 19 – Vikings will start its third season on the History Channel at 10 PM

February 22 – The new UP Channel movie Dancer and the Dame will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Down-and-out detective Rick Dancer (Mike and Molly’s Billy Gardell) and his new sidekick, a police dog named Princess, mutually heal each other while they hunt down the crime lord who killed the dog’s previous partner. The cast includes Quinton Aaron (The Blind Side), James Denton (Desperate Housewives), Leonard Roberts (Heroes), Eva LaRue (CSI: Miami) and Mike Starr (Ed and Chicago Fire).

February 22 – The season finales of Downton Abbey and Grantchester will air on PBS at 9 and 10 PM

February 23 – The season finale of Sleepy Hollow will air on FOX at 9 PM

February 24 – The season finale of Marvel’s Agent Carter will air at 9 PM on ABC

February 26 – The two-hour season finale of How to Get Away with Murder will air on ABC at 9 PM

February 28 – The two-hour series premiere of Good Witch will air at 8 PM on the Hallmark Channel

Show Synopsis: The series will take viewers on a new magical journey with Cassie Nightingale (Catherine Bell) and her bright, young-teenage daughter Grace (Bailee Madison from Once Upon a Time and Northpole), who shares her mom’s special intuitive charm. When Sam, a doctor (James Denton from Desperate Housewives), and his teenage son move in next door to Grey House, they are immediately charmed by the ‘magical’ mother-daughter duo.
