Here are the casting couch features for this past week:
Actor Stuart Townsend (Betrayal) has landed a multi-episode arc on the CBS drama Elementary where he will play Joan’s new boss, Del. When Joan embarks on a part-time gig as an investigator for a global insurance firm, she expects a fresh source of fascinating cases, but it’s her appealing new supervisor who proves to be the most interesting thing about the job. He will appear in the show’s first episode back in 2015. The next episode of Elementary will air on CBS on December 4.
Actress Merrin Dungey (Alias and Betrayed) has landed a recurring role on Once Upon a Time, playing The Little Mermaid villain Ursula. Once Upon a Time will air a new episode on November 30 on ABC.
Actor Billy Baldwin (Parenthood) will guest star in an upcoming episode of Forever, playing Oliver Clausten, a work-hard, play-hard Wall Street CEO who’s accustomed to getting things his way and lives his life with a master-of-the-universe charm and top-predator charisma. When his protégé Jason Fox winds up dead, the show will peel back the layers of Jason’s humble beginnings and introduction to Oliver, his company, and the dangerously cutthroat world that ultimately lead to his demise. The next new episode of Forever will air on ABC on December 2.
Actor Justin Chatwin (Shameless) has joined the cast of Orphan Black for the show’s upcoming third season on BBC America, playing Jason Kellerman, a savvy drug-dealer in the guise of a charismatic businessman. Also joining the cast are James Frain (Intruders and True Blood) and Ksenia Solo (Lost Girl) with Frain playing Ferdinand, a well-educated, “cleaner” who is both charming and intimidating while Solo will play Shay, a soulful and compassionate holistic healer with a great sense of humor destined to become a new friend to Cosima. Orphan Black will be back on BBC America sometime in 2015.
Actress Blair Brown (Fringe) will guest star in a February episode of Person of Interest as Emma, an elegant and warm former public school teacher, who was forced into early retirement, but a jury summons brings Reese and Finch into her life. The next new episode of Person of Interest should air on CBS on December 9.
Actor Sebastian Pigott (Pacific Rim, Bomb Girls and Being Erica) has landed a recurring role on Revenge where he will play Lyman Ellis, Louise’s (recurring guest star Elena Satine) brother, a driven politician. The next new episode of Revenge will air on ABC on November 30.
Veteran actor William Shatner will appear in a multi-episode arc of Haven, playing a pivotal character that has the potential to forever impact the fate of the town of Haven and its Troubled residents. The next episode of Haven will air on Syfy tonight, November 28.
