Here are the casting couch features for this past week:
Actress Sally Pressman (Army Wives) will appear on Once Upon a Time, presumably playing the late mother of Elsa and Anna [from Frozen], who will be featured in the new season. Once Upon a Time will air its next new episode on ABC on October 5.
Actor Dominic Cooper will reprise his role of Howard Stark in the upcoming ABC drama Agent Carter that will star Hayley Atwell in the lead role of Agent Peggy Carter. The series takes place in 1946; and with World War II over, Peggy finds herself marginalized now that the men have returned home. The series will see Peggy working for the SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), balancing work and secret missions with Cooper’s Howard Stark. There is no word on whether Cooper will be a series regular or just appear as a guest, though. Agent Carter is to air on ABC sometime mid-season.
Actress Yvonne Strahovski (24: Live Another Day and Chuck) has joined the upcoming ABC 10-episode drama The Astronaut Wives Club that is based on the Lily Koppel book that tells the real story of the women who stood beside some of the biggest heroes in American history during the height of the space race. Strahovski will play Rene Carpenter, an independent and confident astronaut wife who awakens to a high calling in politics, civil rights and women’s issues. The Astronaut Wives Club does not have an official airdate from ABC, but it is expected to air later in 2015.
Actor Ryan Hansen (Veronica Mars and Party Down) will guest star in the mid-season CW drama iZombie. Hansen will appear as a cocky, uncomplicated golden boy and pro snowboarder who is paid handsomely to put his face on things. An official airdate has not been announced yet by The CW for iZombie, but it should air mid-season.

Devious Maids will be back sometime next year on Lifetime.
