2014 PaleyFest Fall TV Preview

By  |

For a number of years now, the folks at the Paley Center for Media have been holding yearly fall preview parties, allowing the five major networks to screen the pilot episodes of a few of their new fall shows and/or air episodes of their more popular returning series.

This year is no different with all five of the major networks set to make grand presentations at the Paley Center later this week. The following is a list of each preview night in Los Angeles as well as just some of the talent who will be taking part in the panels that will featured throughout each evening:

The Flash

On Saturday, September 6, The CW will take to the stage with a screening of the new dramas Jane the Virgin and The Flash followed by a panel with cast members from both shows, including Gina Rodriguez (series lead on Jane the Virgin), Grant Gustin (series lead on The Flash) and Jesse L. Martin (series regular on The Flash).

The next day – on Sunday, September 7 – CBS will have its turn with a screening of the new drama Scorpion and a panel for the new show that will feature cast members Elyes Gabel, Robert Patrick, Katharine McPhee, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Jadyn Wong and Ari Stidham. This will then be followed by screenings of the network’s new dramas Madam Secretary, Stalker and NCIS: New Orleans as well as the new comedy The McCarthys.

Gotham

On Monday, September 8, FOX will be on tap to screen their new comedy Mulaney with cast members John Mulaney, Martin Short, Nasim Pedrad, Elliott Gould, Seaton Smith and Zack Pearlman taking part in a panel about the new show followed by the screening of the new drama Red Band Society and a panel of the cast and creative team behind that show. That isn’t all, though. The new dramas Gotham and Gracepoint will also be screened.

A couple days later on Wednesday, September 10, NBC will screen its new comedy Marry Me along with a panel that will feature cast members Casey Wilson and Ken Marino. That night will finish off with the screenings of the comedies Bad Judge and A to Z as well as the new dramas Constantine and The Mysteries of Laura.

Forever

The following night – Thursday, September 11 – ABC will have the final night of the fall previews, screening the new comedy Black-ish with cast members from the sitcom participating in a panel followed by the screening of the new comedy Cristela with lead star Cristela Alonzo and other cast members also taking part in a panel. That night will finish with screenings of the network’s new comedies Selfie and Manhattan Love Story and the new drama Forever.
