ABC
The NiceGirlsTV CASTING COUCH
Here are the casting couch features for this past week:
Actress Yeardley Smith (best known as the voice of Lisa on The Simpsons) will guest star in the season premiere of Revenge, playing Phyllis, a fellow patient at the mental institution where Victoria (series lead Madeleine Stowe) was admitted (against her will) in the show’s season three finale. Also, actor Nestor Serrano (Graceland) will have a recurring role on the show this fall, playing Edward Alvarez, a commanding and perceptive police chief who’s (surprisingly) in Victoria’s corner. Revenge will be back for a new season on ABC starting on September 28.
Actress Gina Ravera (The Closer) will guest star in an upcoming fall episode of Castle, playing Marsha Stoller, the vice president of a successful toy company. The 12th precinct finds itself playing in the toy biz when company founder Wally Williger turns up dead. Castle will return for a new season starting on September 29 on ABC.
Actress Sonya Walger (Lost) has landed a potentially recurring role on Scandal, but details are being kept under wraps as to her she will be playing. Scandal will return to ABC on September 25.
British actress Rose Williams has joined the cast of Reign in the recurring role of Princess Claude, the royal daughter of Catherine de Medici (series regular Megan Follows) and the deceased King Henry and sister to the newly crowned King Francis (series lead Toby Regbo). Reign will return for its second season on The CW on October 2.
Actress Adrianne Palicki (Friday Night Light) will appear on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. this fall, playing Barbara “Bobbi” Morse (aka the costumed operative known as Mockingbird). Also, actor Brian Patrick Wade (Teen Wolf) will appear as Carl “Crusher” Creel (aka the Marvel villain Absorbing Man) on the series. He will put Coulson and his team through their paces in the season premiere. SHIELD will be back on ABC starting on September 23.
Actor Matt Ward (Hellcats) will appear in an upcoming episode of Arrow this fall, playing Simon Lacroix (aka Komodo). He will be the “villain-of-the-week” in episode 2, but Team Arrow will pursue him over a season-long storyline. Arrow will return to The CW on October 8.
Actor Kenny Johnson (The Shield and Saving Grace) will have a recurring role in season five of Covert Affairs, playing a former CIA paramilitary operative, who is compassionate and has an excellent track record and strong moral center. He is the type of guy who tackles any challenges thrown his way. Johnson’s arc begins in the second half of the season, which returns this fall. Covert Affairs will air its mid-season finale on August 26 on the USA Network.
Actress Louise Lombard (CSI) will guest star in at least three episodes of Grimm, playing Elizabeth Lascelles, a mysterious woman connected to the royal families. Grimm will be back starting on October 24 on NBC.
Actor Greg Finley (Star-Crossed and The Secret Life of the American Teenager) has landed a recurring role on The Flash. He will play the Tony Woodward (aka Girder), who – much like Barry Allen – was affected by the S.T.A.R. Labs explosion, given him the ability to turn his skin into living metal. The Flash will debut on The CW on October 7.
Actor Paul Reubens (aka Pee-wee Herman) will guest star in multiple episodes of The Blacklist this fall, playing Mr. Vargas, a dapper, finicky “muscle” who handles delicate situations in the criminal underworld. The Blacklist will be back for its second season on NBC on September 22.
Please come back next week for more casting announcements.
