COVERT AFFAIRS: A SUMMER SHOW TO WATCH

Covert Affairs, now in it’s 5th season on USA, is one of the most fantastic summer shows on TV. Year after year the show has delivered briliiant storylines, solid acting and great guest stars. This year has been no exception.

USA ordered 16 episodes of Covert Affairs this year and we are about 1/2 way through the season.Nothing is ever simple for Annie (Piper Perabo) or her best friend sometimes boyfriend Auggie (Christopher Gorham) but their relationship is what, for me, is the grounding force of the show.

Season 4 was spent mainly with Annie on the run and off the grid so it is nice that Season 5 has a little more of a homey feel to it. Of course Annie does a lot of running off here and there in an attempt to uncover the latest conspiracy or chase the bad guy and fans wouldn’t have it any other way.

Joining the cast this season is McQuaid (Nic Bishop), he and Annie cross paths while hunting a bad guy and they team up to take them down.

If you haven’t had a chance to watch this show I would highly recommend it. It’s smart, action packed and full of beautiful people. What could be better than that?
