The episode begins with a flashback to 1900 B.C. Babylon and with it we are gifted with  a scene of Michael landing on a field of death.
His words of “Don’t be afraid.” had me hopeful for a brief moment. It lasted only long enough to reveal the truth of the matter. As it turns out, Michael was the real story behind the Biblical Flood. It was the Archangel himself working on behalf of his Father’s wishes with Gabriel and Uriel on opposing sides.  Now that was a perfect twist and creates even more intrigue! Just what happened between those two angels for their roles to have been so completely reversed?

Michael helps Alex practice his eviction skills without much success. Alex’s disappointment is soothed by Noma when she comes upon him in the showers and we get to see just how far those tattoos really go. Meanwhile, Gabriel it seems is exercising his new talent of possessing a Higher Angel in the form of Nelson and busies himself in creating as much damage as possible to angels and humans alike. He pulls no punches even with his own family and Uriel is forced to give up the list of Neutrals hidden in Vega.

Gabriel toy’s with Alex and leads him to question Michael. “He’s been keeping secrets for so long I’m sure even he has a time remembering fact and fiction.” “He truly has grown as a person…..I knew him before he changed.”

Gabriel isn’t done in his creation of Chaos when he lures Alex and Noma to him and forces The Chosen One to witness the truth of Noma’s identity. Holy Cow! She’s a FREAKING ANGEL!  Thank you Dominion! Now, I am actually beginning to care about her character!

Poor Alex, as if he didn’t have trust issues before, he has them now in spades! Gabriel turns his life upside down with what we know now is actually the truth. Boom! It’s a biggie when you think about it because it shifts who is good and evil on it’s head and sideways! And, when further truth has been revealed regarding Nelson’s Possession by Gabriel. And, lookie here! It seems Alex’s practice has paid off when he finally gets and Eviction right and forces Gabriel out!

DOM107_DavidThe other major plot line of the episode revolved around House Whele. William cares for his Father in the hope of saving his soul for Gabriel. “This isn’t about revenge. This is about love.” Sadly William is drinking the Kool-Aid and David get’s the short end of the stick again when he is thrown quite literally into the Lion’s Den. This predictably doesn’t end well, especially for the lion, and the two men find themselves at opposite ends with their beliefs. I enjoyed seeing the conflict between Father and Son as they struggle with true belief, loss and love.
