Actor Brandon Routh (Superman Returns and Chuck) will have a recurring role on Arrow when it returns for its third season on The CW. He will play Ray Palmer, aka DC superhero The Atom. Palmer is an unparalleled scientist and inventor, who will play an unexpected role in the lives of Oliver (series lead Stephen Amell) and (rumored love interest) Felicity (series regular Emily Bett Rickards) as the new owner of Queen Consolidated. Arrow will be back on The CW starting on October. 8

Taye Diggs

Taye Diggs

Actor Taye Diggs (Murder in the First) will guest star in multiple episode of The Good Wife this fall. He will play Dean Levine-Wilkins, a meticulous and talented equity partner at Lockhart/Gardner who decides to join Diane Lockhart (series regular Christine Baranski) at Florrick/Agos, the firm run by Alicia (series lead Juliana Margulies) and Cary (series regular Matt Czuchry). The Good Wife will return to CBS on September 21.

Elizabeth Mitchell and Giancarlo Esposito

Elizabeth Mitchell and Giancarlo Esposito

Actress Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost and Revolution) has joined the cast of Once Upon a Time where she will play a part of the much-anticipated Frozen-inspired storyline, but specifics on what role she will play are being kept under wraps, but it is known that she will play a “villainous character”. Also actor Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad and Revolution) will reprise his role of Sidney Glass in the series. Once Upon a Time will be back this fall on ABC.

Young actress Bailee Madison (young Snow White on Once Upon a Time) has joined the cast of the upcoming Hallmark Channel drama The Good Witch, which is based on the network’s popular movie franchise. An official airdate for The Good Witch has yet to be announced by the Hallmark Channel.

Robbie Amell

Robbie Amell

Actor Robbie Amell (The Tomorrow People) has landed a recurring role in the new CW Arrow spin-off series The Flash, playing Ronnie Raymond (aka Firestorm), a maintenance worker at S.T.A.R. Labs and Dr. Caitlin Snow’s (series regular Danielle Panabaker) fiancé, who will play an integral part in the particle accelerator accident that transforms Barry Allen (series lead Grant Gustin) into The Flash. The Flash will debut on The CW on October 7.

Gil Bellows

Gil Bellows

Actor Gil Bellows (Ally McBeal) has joined the cast of the upcoming 6-hour Syfy limited series Ascension that tells the story of a ship that was launched into space by the U.S. government in 1963 to populate a new world. The series picks up 50 years into the mission, as a mysterious murder causes those on board to question the true nature of their mission. Bellows will play the son of Abraham Enzmann, the founder of the Ascension mission, who is determined to continue his father’s work. Ascension will debut on Syfy in November.

Gina Gershon and Ophelia Lovibond

Gina Gershon and Ophelia Lovibond

Actress Gina Gershon (Rescue Me) will guest star in an episode of Elementary when it returns this fall on CBS. She will play Elana March, a socialite whom Joan (series lead Lucy Liu) suspects of running a notorious drug cartel. Unable to prove Elana’s ties to the cartel’s operations, Joan hopes to turn one of Elana’s accountants into a key witness for the prosecution. But Joan’s pursuit of Elana quickly becomes personal, with Elana demonstrating the lengths to which she’s willing to go in order to avoid prison. Also, British actress Ophelia Lovibond (the mini-series Titanic: Blood and Steel) will have a recurring role on the series, playing Kitty Winter, Sherlock’s (series lead Jonny Lee Miller) new protégé and rival to her predecessor Joan (series lead Lucy Liu). Elementary will return to CBS on October 30.

Craig Parker

Craig Parker

Actor Craig Parker (Spartacus and Legend of the Seeker) has landed a recurring role on the second season of Reign, playing Narcisse, a devout Catholic with a “death grip” on French Court. Reign will be back on The CW on October 2.
