She will be one of Oliver’s mentors in flashbacks scenes and a critical influence on his journey to eventually become The Arrow of present day. And, actor Peter Stormare (Prison Break and The Blacklist) will play Werner Zytle, who will be introduced as the new purveyor of the drug Vertigo, filling the role left vacant since the death of The Count (recurring guest star Seth Gabel). Zytle will go by the moniker Vertigo. Arrow will be back for the start of its third season on The CW on October 8.
Actor Tom Irwin (Devious Maids) will play Thomas Carver, the late father of April (series regular Italia Ricci) in flashback scenes of Chasing Life, the new ABC Family drama. The next new episode of Chasing Life will air on July 8 on ABC Family.
