BREAKING NEWS: Revenge Promotes Actor

For the past three seasons on the ABC soap opera Revenge, actor James Tupper has appeared in flashbacks as David Clarke, the dead father of Emily Thorne aka Amanda Clarke (series lead Emily VanCamp), but as anyone who watched the season finale of the series this past May knows all too well [SPOILER ALERT!], it would appear that Daddy David isn’t dead at all.

And with that resurrection comes the announcement that Tupper has been promoted to series regular for the fourth season of Revenge, which will air on ABC sometime this fall.

Details about his return from the dead as well as the ramifications his reappearance will have not only on his daughter but also ex-love Victoria Grayson (series lead Madeleine Stowe) are being kept under wraps, of course, but fans can wait in anticipation to learn what happens next on Revenge this fall.
