This week’s casting couch features the following guest stars:
Actress Amy Jo Johnson (Flashpoint and Felicity) has landed a recurring role on Covert Affairs, playing Hayley, an investigator with the National Counter Terrorism Center (NCTC) who knows how to stand her ground; a persistent woman who’s an expert at taking control, she goes head-to-head with Auggie (series regular Christopher Gorham) when the intelligence community faces a united threat. The fifth season of Covert Affairs will return to the USA Network sometime this summer.
Actor Enver Gjokaj (Dollhouse and Witches of East End) will guest star in an upcoming episode of Rizzoli & Isles, playing Jack Keystone, a charming Boston University professor who enters the lives of Jane (series lead Angie Harmon) and Maura (series lead Sasha Alexander). Rizzoli & Isles will be back for a new season on TNT starting on June 17.
Buffy, Angel and Veronica Mars alum Charisma Carpenter will guest star in the season premiere of Lost Girl when it returns for its fifth season. Lost Girl will be back on Syfy, probably, sometime in 2015.
Actress Linda Hamilton (Terminator) will guest star in an upcoming episode of Defiance, playing Pilar McCawley, the estranged wife of Rafe McCawley (series regular Graham Greene). Defiance will be back for its second season starting on June 19 on Syfy.
Actor Michael Gross (Family Ties) will have a recurring role on Suits when it returns for its fourth season this summer on the USA Network. He will play businessman Walter Gillis, the down-to-earth founder of a groundbreaking DVD distribution company, who finds himself fending off takeover bids while he tries to keep his business solvent. Also, Canadian actress Melanie Papalia (The Newsroom and the Canadian series Motive and Endgame) has landed a recurring role on the series, playing Amy, the executive secretary for Mike (series lead Patrick J. Adams) at his new job at Sidwell. Suits aired its season finale last night (April 10) on the USA Network and will be back with its new season this June.
Actress Michelle Forbes (The Killing, True Blood and Battlestar Galactica) will be seen in Orphan Black, which returns to BBC America, playing the boss of Dr. Leekie (Matt Frewer) and “proclone” Rachel (series lead Tatiana Maslany). Orphan Black will be back on BBC America on April 19.
