ABC
It’s Finale Time: Intelligence, Wonderland and When Calls the Heart
While May is typically the time that TV viewers expect to see lots of season (or where applicable series) finales of their favorite shows, there are a few new dramas that will be airing their final episodes a little early.
The following is just a few of those shows that will be coming to a close before May:
When Calls the Heart, the Hallmark Channel adaptation of the Janette Oke book series, that tells the story of Canadian socialite Elizabeth Thatcher who goes to a coal mining community to be a school teacher and RCMP Jack Thornton who protects the town of Coal Valley, will come to an end on March 29 at 9 PM.
The new CBS drama Intelligence that stars Lost alum Josh Holloway as Gabriel Vaughn, a high-tech intelligence operative enhanced with a super-computer microchip in his brain, will air its finale on March 31 at 10 PM.
And, the ABC spin-off series Once Upon a Time in Wonderland that follows the adventures of Alice, her love Cyrus, the Knave of Hearts and the Red Queen in the colorful and dangerous world of Wonderland where they battle the evil Jafar, will end on April 3 on ABC at 8 PM.
The first two shows – When Calls the Heart and Intelligence – have not been renewed by their respective networks yet, but there is a good possibility that both could be back for a second season each.
Meanwhile, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland was given only a certain order of episodes by ABC with no plans for a second season unless the show performed well enough to warrant a renewal. Given the show has performed pretty poorly overall, it is extremely doubtful that ABC will given it a second season order.
If you are a fan of any of these three shows, make sure to mark your calendars for each show’s final episode.
